Indigenous Art Workshop at the City Library

 

The City of Melbourne is offering 40 lucky students (local and international) the opportunity to participate in an indigenous art workshop.  This Indigenous arts experience includes:

  • Indigenous necklace making using gumnuts, gum leaves, emu feathers.
  • Collage on bark using natural materials such as flowering gum, leaves, small gumnuts and recycled materials.
  • Painting using ochre.
  • Storytelling using Aboriginal symbols and animal tracks.
