We’re looking for qualified interns to join our team and own specific growth projects within our organisation, and up to four positions are available for capable candidates.
The specific projects that are available cover the following areas:
- Marketing and Analytics
- Business Development
General competencies we are looking for include:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of technology and passionate about reaching international students
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Business acumen
- Team-oriented
The internships are designed as structured pieces of work that interns will own and will provide invaluable experience which we hope will assist students in securing future employment.
Guidance will be provided by industry professionals to ensure a rewarding learning experience.
As Meld is a 100 per cent volunteer-run organisation, internships are unpaid and will have flexible work arrangements. The duration ranges from three to six months depending on the project the intern is responsible for.
The internships are an excellent opportunity for final year university students and recent university graduates to apply their studies in a practical working environment, continue learning and make some great contacts along the way.
To confirm your interest, please email a CV, covering letter expressing your interest and preferred project, recent academic transcripts to careers@meldmagazine.com.au by September 21, 2012.
A briefing will be held on Saturday September 29, 2012 and internships will commence in mid-October 2012.
