AFIS International Student Information Day 2013

THE international student experience is more than just about getting a degree. Come along to the AFIS International Student Information Day to find out how you can make the most of your time here as a student. It’s free!

Moving to a new country can be daunting. You’ve sorted our your accommodation and are still adjusting to university life. What’s next? Perhaps you’d like to invest some time volunteering for a worthy cause, or take up a part-time job. Or you’d like to look into migration pathways and their requirements, but don’t know where to start.

The Australian Federation of International Students (AFIS), in conjunction with the Victorian Government will be holding an Information Day on Saturday, September 14 to answer your burning questions.

Look forward to practical advice about volunteering, job-hunting, your rights at work, student safety, networking and migration pathways at the event.

Lunch will be provided, plus there will be music and cultural performances, as well as amazing prizes up for grabs.

Prizes include an iPad Mini, movie tickets, Coles/Myer vouchers and more!

The AFIS Information Day will be held at Level 12, Victoria University, 300 Flinders Street, Melbourne from 10am to 4pm.
