Howey Place Lane Party Shopping Night

Howey Place is hosting an amazing party this Friday night that’ll allow shoppers to let loose with performances by Brazillian DJs and Brazilian singer, Ju Tenucci.

The high energy late night shopping environment provided by Howey Place will also allow shoppers to engage with designers who will be around to answer questions about their collections.

With Christmas around the corner, organisers of the event have offered plenty of discounts and special offers on the night.

Food by Senor BBQ is on hand for catering to keep your tummy happy and full while you enjoy the music and offers.

Live on Bowen
Friday, December 13 (8.00-9.45pm); RMITV Studios, RMIT University

The comedic collective over at Live on Bowen are inviting you to be part of the live studio audience this Friday night.

Regular hosts and participants, Aaron McCarthy, Michael Connell, Hayman Kent and Dilruk Jayasinha, will be in the studio to host interviews, run comedy sketches and do stand-up comedy as well as provide live music.

The variety show airs every Friday on Channel 31 at 8.30pm and provides an opportunity for some free live entertainment.

Coburg Night Market
Saturday, December 13 (5.30pm start), Bridges Reserve (Corner of Bell St and Sydney Rd)

In its third year running, the Coburg Night Market will have a collection of arts and crafts to browse through as well as live entertainment and food to cater to everyone.

Based in a central location not too far away from the city, the market is a great place for a night out and for will be equally opprtune for those seeking unique trinkets that can’t be found elsewhere.

Bringing their New Orleans sounds this Friday night also is Aussie band Cope Street Parade, who’ll have visitors dancing late into the night.

Chen Ping: To Feel, To Fly
December 13 (10.00am – 5.30pm), MiFA Gallery (Level 1, 278 Collins St, Melbourne)

MiFA Gallery will be showcasing the works of Chinese artist Chen Ping in their exhibition Chen Ping: to Feel, to Fly.

Central ideas from the artist include the exploration of society away from its natural and almost animalistic routes with an attempt to reground these bases of humanity through his artwork.

The idea of a culture’s beginnings is also a prominent theme in Ping’s art.
