Chinatown Pop-up Night Market

Every third Friday of the month, Chinatown hosts a night market situated in Heffernen Lane. Here, you can sample assortments of hawker-style Chinese food and eye a variety of souvenirs.
Food stalls will be set up along the lane, selling mouth-watering Chinese food such as dumplings, satays, sticky rice, noodle dishes and sweet treats. Explore the lantern-lit laneway and bask in the aromatic flavours that emanate through the laneway from 4.00pm until 10.00pm.

Markit @ Fed Square

The biannual event Markit returns on November 23 at Federation Square for another independent designer-filled shopping experience. This market will be home to approximately 100 of Melbourne’s best designers, selling retail products ranging from stationary, fashion, prints and homewares among various other collectables.
Created by designers, this curated market provides shoppers with the unique opportunity to chat with designers about their products. This event will also open your eyes to a wider scope of retail experience that isn’t limited to mass-produced or commercial designs.
Many of the designers will take either cash or card. Moreover, by subscribing to Markit’s mailing list, you will get a chance to win up to $1800 from Markit’s exhibitors!

Night Noodle Markets

Night Noodle Markets returns to Melbourne after a successful debut last year, but this time around it will be located at Birrarung Marr. This food market is currently on its last legs, ending on November 30 after taking up residency since November 14. It has evidently asserted itself as a dominating member of Melbourne’s Good Food Month.
In the romantic Alexander Gardens on the banks of the Yarra River, some of Melbourne’s best loved Asian restaurants and cafes are opening food stalls and food trucks to dish out a variety of classic Asian dishes. From more than 50 stalls, these dishes range in price from $5 to $15. Food from almost every country in Asia will be on offer, including those from Malaysia, China, Nepal, Burma and South Korea.
With bars, seating areas, and light installations, this night market is so much more than just a noodle market!

Paris to Provence

South Yarra will be hosting a three-day fete dedicated to all things French. The National Trust property of Como House will be converted into a pop-up village complete with the sights, sounds, and smells that make French culture so distinct!
With interactive activities, live music, and French food and Pommery champagne tastings, you may find yourself booking tickets to France sooner than you had planned. And if you are indeed planning to take a trip to France, seminars on travel and French property will be available as your guide.
