Korean boyband BTS coming to Australia in July

K-POP fans will not want to miss out on seeing BTS perform live in Australia! Darren Boon has more details on their Aussie arrival.

After performing to fans in Los Angeles, Japan, Thailand and Singapore, Korean boyband BTS‘ next stop will be two of Australia’s finest cities: Melbourne and Sydney!

The boys are expected to arrive and perform down under in July, joining a wave of Korean pop groups and idols who’ve have made their way to Australia in recent times.

Also known as the Bangtan Boys, the group debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment with the track, ‘No More Dream’.

The septet, which comprises Rap Monster (Kim Nam-joon – leader and rapper), Jin (Kim Seok-jin – vocalist), Suga (Min Yoon-gi – rapper), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok – rapper and dancer), Jimin (Park Jimin – vocalist and dancer), V (Kim Tae-hyung – vocalist) and Jung Kook (Jeon Jung-kook – vocalist and maknae), has released two Korean EPs, one full album and one single album.

Their famous hits include ‘Boy in Luv’, ‘N.O.’, ‘Danger’, and ‘War of Hormone’.

Despite being relatively new, the group has managed to earn various awards along the way, including several Best New Artists awards at major Korean music awards shows such as the Golden Disk Awards, MelOn Music Awards and Seoul Music Awards.
