THE venue for the annual conference of the Council of International Students of Australia has been moved from Docklands to Carlton and delegates should take note. Hieu Chau has more.
A last minute change will see the annual conference of Australia’s international student peak body CISA move from the Peninsula at Central Pier, Docklands, to Arrow on Swanston in Carlton instead.
The conference and pre-conference workshop is due to begin next Monday July 6 through to Wednesday July 8.
The venue changes were announced on CISA’s official website though the conference’s registration page has yet to be updated as of this week.
The Gala Dinner, which consists of the “International Students’ Got Talent” competition and Excellence Awards, will still be hosted at its original Docklands venue however.
CISA president Thomson Ch’ng has confirmed the changes but declined to comment further, and said an official statement will be released at a later time.
