LOOKING for volunteering opportunities in 2016? Meld is looking for passionate, enthusiastic and can-do students both local and international to be involved in the upcoming Melbourne International Student Conference taking place this May.
The Melbourne International Student Conference is here again! Set to take place this May 6 and 7 (much earlier than previous years, we know!), we are now looking for passionate, enthusiastic and can-do students to be part of the conference team.
The conference is an annual event bringing together local and international students, as well as industry, to learn, exchange ideas, innovate and collaborate to support young people in their personal and professional development.
The conference recognises that governments, not-for-profits, students groups, education institutions, business, alumni and industry professionals are part of an intricately connected ecosystem of networks and relationships, and invites wide-ranging participation and input in the development and delivery of the conference program.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘The Future of Work’ and will address topics including global employability and work-readiness, cultural competency and integration, leadership and entrepreneurship, professional networking and mentoring.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, we’d like to hear from you!
There are opportunities for involvement in the following areas:
- Program development
- Promotion and marketing
- Partnerships and sponsorships
- Media (photographers, videographers, reporters, graphic designers)
Conference day volunteers
- TAG workshop teachers
