Lunar New Year festivities are in full swing all across Melbourne and this weekend, you can celebrate the Year of the Rooster at Queen Victoria Market!

Live entertainment including martial arts demonstrations, traditional dancing and cooking demonstrations will be available between 10.00am and 2.00pm. A bounty of food will be available to munch on throughout the day and markets will be plenty busy with gifts to take away.

The event is free to attend but do bring cash if you want to really partake in the day’s festivities!

Yak Ales Barbecue Street Party

Sample a delicious range of barbecued goods, down a beer or two thanks to Yak Ales, see cooking demonstrations by local and international barbecue experts and experience live entertainment too!

Purple: The Prince Tribute Performance

Iconic music legend Prince passed away last year and left behind a legacy of music that still touches the soul of many fans around the world.

This Sunday you can keep the memory of Prince alive by heading to Speakeasy HQ for a tribute performance to Prince performed by Tanya Di Vella, a versatile artist whose talents have captivated audiences around Australia.

This is an 18+ event so do make sure to bring ID along. Furthermore, this is also a ticketed event – general admission is $15.
