If you grew up in the ’90s, you definitely annoyed your parents into getting you a Tamagotchi.
The device housing your very own virtual pet turns 20 this year and to celebrate, the original Tamagotchi devices have been re-issued and are currently on sale in select stores (refer to your favourite nerdy den and ask if they have the original Tamagotchi in stock!).
The first Tamagotchis dropped in 1996 for Japan while everyone else had to wait until 1997 to get their hands on their very own digital pet.
