The Weekender: February 16 – 18

White Night Melbourne 2018
Saturday, February 17 – Sunday, February 18 (7.00pm -7.00am) | Melbourne CBD

If you’re new to Melbourne, this is one event you’ll want to experience at least once during your time here!

White Night Melbourne is one of the biggest events on the Melbourne calendar and it will be returning this weekend for yet another year of festivities. A large portion of the CBD will be closed off to traffic, allowing the public to walk around on the streets and roads of Melbourne’s city precincts.

Walk around and marvel at the light installations that will be glowing across Melbourne’s famous city landmarks and structures. Participate in dance and music performances at the main stage of the festival (or just be witness to the many buskers and street performers coming out for the night) or get involved with the many activities and events happening all across the city!

Institutions like the National Gallery of Victoria and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image will also be opening its doors until 7.00am so there’s no excuses to not check out their fantastic exhibitions, especially NGV’s current Triennial exhhibit!

So if you’re up for a LONG night out, head on down to White Night Melbourne and brave the crowds!
