See world-class actors in highly decorated films at one of Melbourne’s great outdoor cinemas, the Moonlight Cinema! And with the Oscars just right around the corner, why not use this weekend to catch up on some nominated features?

This weekend, Moonlight Cinema will be screening Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, I, Tonya and Get Out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Invite your friends, bring your own rug and some snacks and really make a night of it. Don’t worry if you don’t have anything to eat or drink, a bar and food options are available for purchasing at the Moonlight Cinema.

Lantern Festival

The Lunar New Year festivities do not stop here in Melbourne! By the time the Lantern Festival takes off, it will have been the 15th day the Lunar New Year calendar.

What is the Lantern Festival? It’s a two-day festival filled with cultural performances, food and family-friendly activities all dedicated to the cultures that celebrate Lunar New Year!

Taking place at Queen Victoria Market, visitors will also be able to take part in cooking workshops and demonstrations, visit unique stalls selling an assortment of goods and decoratives to bring home and see plenty of amazing live entertainment across that weekend.

Lekker Bikes Annual Garage Sale

Nocturnal at Melbourne Museum

The museum can be pretty cool and this Friday, you can see the museum in all its wonder at this exclusive 18+ event!

Describing itself as more than just a party, Nocturnal invites patrons to experience the museum in a completely different way. Hear live music performed by DJs and bands, engage in serious discussion with museum experts, drink from its open bar and pick at some delicious gourmet food, all while walking around the museum itself and seeing all it has to offer.

Essentially turning the museum into a playground for adults, Nocturnal is an adults-only event that occurs every first Friday of the month and one that promises to be a fun time for all who come!
