White Night Melbourne
Saturday, February 23

For one night only, Melbourne comes alive like never before with the launch of White Night Melbourne. Watch as Melbourne comes alive under the cover of darkness. Flinders Street Station will temporarily become a music amphitheatre, join in a torchlight tour at the Melbourne Museum, or be mesmerised by a water, laser and light show by the Yarra River. White Night (or Nuit Blanche) was conceived in Paris in 2002 to bring art and culture to the masses – with a local spin. Melbourne will be the first city in Australia to join Paris, Toronto, Singapore and 20 other countries to host White Night this year. For more information, check out the full program.
