AS part of our At Home and Abroad cultural experience workshops, we hosted a coffee masterclass last Thursday with barista Andrew Mayne. Here’s what you missed!
The evening kicked off with barista Andrew Mayne giving a short talk on the history of coffee. What’s the difference between a latte, flat white, mocha, and macchiato? Andrew answered those questions as well.
Before moving on to the practical part of the masterclass, we asked some coffee-related trivia questions and gave out a few prizes…

We then moved on to the practical part of the workshop, where Andrew showed everyone how to tell the difference between a good and bad coffee. Some even got to try their hand at making a cuppa.
For all those who were able to join us last Thursday, we hope you had lots of fun! Do let us know if you have any feedback and let us know what other workshops you’d like us to organise in future.
