Celebrating design, print and illustration, Supergraph, a contemporary graphic art fair is back – bigger and better than ever before –  at the The Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton this Friday.

Spanning across three days, Supergraph will feature a huge range of works from both established and independent artists. They ensure that original and limited edition artworks will be available for every taste with price starting at just $30.

The fair will additionally feature creative workshops, artist-led master classes and an opening night party led by DJ Yo!Mafia, where you will get the chance to be the first to snap up all the goodness!

Students studying across the many fields of design should definitely consider getting inspired at this event.

Tickets are available at the door when you arrive for only $8 (or $5 for concession!)

Sidney Myer Music Bowl Free Concert

Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) are putting on their yearly free concerts at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl this weekend with a theme appropriately called A Music Valentine, which features love stories set to music.

These yearly concerts are part of a long-running Melbourne tradition and are also a great way to spend a warm summer’s evening

So head on over with friends or that special someone, put down a rug and enjoy the sounds of some truly great music.

The evening features the music of Tchaikovsky, Strauss and Gershwin to name a few, and the best part is that it’s free!

Antipodes Lonsdale Street Festival 2015

The Greek precinct in Melbourne’s CBD is putting on a huge, free street festival! The 28th Lonsdale Street Festival is sure to be a great weekend of fun.

Live performances and dancing from talented local and international performers will keep you entertained throughout the festival. If you feel like putting your dancing feet to use, there will also be a Zorba ‘Til You Drop competition on the main stage!

A huge variety of delectable Greek-style food will be available at the Flavours of Greece market, along with a range of pop-up shops featuring cooking demonstrations as well as food trucks if you’re wanting something on the go. The market is also an excellent place to pick up a souvenir that stands out for family and friends back home.

Tasty beverages can be found at the Barbaresso Ouzeri, a Greek Island-style outdoor pop-up bar which serves up inspired cocktails.

The Festival runs over two days so there’s plenty of time to experience this fun-filled event.

Springvale Lunar New Year Celebration

Springvale is putting on huge day of free festivities to celebrate the Lunar New Year and The Year of the Goat.

Indulge your taste buds with a huge range of multicultural street food and market stalls selling all kinds of Asian delights.

Enjoy carnival rides, sideshow amusements and live performances to keep yourself entertained and have a look at the many stalls featuring arts, crafts and novelties.
