The Bayside Farmers Market is on down the bay at Sandringham this weekend, where you can enjoy a day by the beach and pick up some fresh produce!

There are more than 80 different stallholders on the grounds, offering a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade jams, sauces, dips, cheeses, cakes and more!

If you get in early, you can enjoy a breakfast prepared by the Sandringham Rotary Club using organic eggs, bacon and gourmet relish to kick start your day.

Entry to the market is a $2.00 donation to the Rotary Club.

Community Cultural Fair

Get along to Drill Hall to celebrate this year’s Community Cultural Fair, hosted by the Melbourne Multicultural Hub! The event is a free celebration of Melbourne’s multiculturalism with lots to see and do.

Amongst those on offer are various art and craft stalls, along with cultural dance and music performances which include Samoan dance and Brazilian drumming!

What’s more, you can get some henna tattoos, catch food demonstrations, and experience a whole lot more from Melbourne’s diverse communities.

Westgate Indoor Market

The Westgate Indoor Market over at the Westgate Entertainment Complex is a huge indoor market with 80 stalls, lots of parking space and free entry!

Once you’ve arrived, make sure you head to the Manager’s Stall first to get a couple of free discount vouchers. One of them will give you 50% off Cliffhanger, the tallest indoor rock climbing complex in the southern hemisphere, and another will get you $5 off the Airodrome Trampoline Park. Both fun and games are located within the complex.

In the market itself, you can pick up gourmet food, handmade crafts and candles, cosmetics, vintage inspired jewellery, hand carved wood items and a whole lot more!

If you’re in need for a lunch break, grab a meal at the Cruiser Bar and Cafe before continuing the shopping fun.

Viva Victoria Festival 2015

Federation Square is hosting the Viva Victoria Multicultural Festival for another year. The free event celebrates Victoria’s cultural, linguistic and religious diversity as well as community harmony.

The Festival has a huge program of entertainment and activities to fill your day. You can, for instance, enjoy live music and dance including tribal, Latin and Brazilian across four stages!

In addition, you are invited to take part in workshops, catch films, see roving performers, and experience arts and crafts from a range of diverse cultures throughout the day.

If you’re after a bite, there’s going to be huge range of stall holders with food from all around the world including Asia, the Mediterranean and Europe!
