If you have a sweet-tooth that needs satisfying, this event is for you!

The Food Truck Park in Preston is gathering Melbourne’s finest ice cream trucks for one sweet weekend.

What better way to spend an evening out with your pals than by inhaling ice creams of all kinds at the Ice Cream Festival?! From gelato and waffles to crepes, shakes and donuts, the many variations of ice cream will have you screaming for more.

The Ice Cream Festival is happening for three days straight this weekend. On Friday, it will run from 5.00pm to 10.00pm; on Saturday the festival opens at 12.00pm and ends at 10.00pm; and on Sunday it will also start midday and end at 9.00pm.

Wonderful Indonesia
Saturday, January 21 – Sunday, 22 January | St Kilda Beach

Want the experience of being in Indonesia but have too much going in Melbourne to go away? Don’t worry! Wonderful Indonesia will be bringing the Indonesian experience to you this weekend at St Kilda Beach!

The Wonderful Indonesia Beach Fest celebrates everything amazing about Indonesia. Highlights include experiencing Balinese music and dance, seeing the Malang Flower Carnival, joining in dance performances from various Indonesian communities across Melbourne, Yoga on the Beach and so much more!

So for two days in one of Melbourne’s gorgeous beaches, see what makes Indonesia so wonderful and experience a culture that goes well beyond just Bali! Victoria Street Lunar Festival 2017

Just when you think your New Year celebration is over, here comes the Lunar New Year to get you partying all over again. If you’re unable to travel home for this festive event, you’ll want to hit up the Lunar New Year celebration coming up this weekend in Richmond.

The iconic Victoria St will be celebrating the Lunar New Year with the usual sights and sounds of the occasion including lion dancing, noisy firecrackers and a diverse display of entertainment from Chinese opera, Vietnamese pop and carnival rides!

Given Victoria St’s reputation for quality Vietnamese cuisine, you won’t want to miss out seeing iron stomachs competing in the pho eating competition! And speaking of food, plenty of Vietnam’s culinary delights can be sampled on the day too with many of the street’s restaurants hosting their own food stalls. Other cuisines from countries like China and South Korea will also be sold too.

Sunset Series
Saturday, January 21 – Sunday, January 22 (5.00pm – 9.00pm) |Fitzroy Gardens (230 -2 98 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne)

The Sunset Series returns to one of Melbourne’s most beautiful parks this weekend and will feature a bevvy of live music, dance workshops and food trucks to make those long evenings in the sun feel amazing.

Essentially a fun four-hour event on Saturday and Sunday in Fitzroy Gardens, you’ll be treated to the following on both days:

  • Saturday will focus on local bands and offer a relaxed vibe presented by MzRizk and featuring Neil Morris, Sista Selekta, MzRizk featuring thando and Au Dray, a Silver Linings featuring Peril and Fulton Street.
  • On Sunday, treat yourself to some fun dance and pop culture works workshops, and live music featuring Sovtrax and several other DJ sets.

This is a free event and on the evenings you will also find delicious food and drinks from Coffee on Q, Mr Burger, O Tuga Tastes of Portugal, Yo India and Sweet from Forbidden Journey.
