For those either fascinated by all things Korean — whether its the food or its infectious K-Pop — or just want to experience a new culture, Korea Week Festival 2016 definitely is your place to go to this weekend.

You can experience both modern and traditional Korean culture by watching the Melbourne K-Pop World Festival competition, admiring the Hanbok fashion show (the traditional Korean costume), seeing a demonstration of Korea’s unique taekwondo martial art or receiving a makeover from a Korean stylist.

Events will be held at City Square on April 27 – 28, and at Queensbridge Square on April 29 – 30.

Entry to the festival is free, and you can find out more information via Korea Week Festival’s official Facebook.

Dog owners and dog lovers won’t want to miss out on the upcoming Dog Lovers Show this weekend; an event that aims to provide the very best in education, entertainment and information for those that own or simply just love dogs.

Play with some dogs at the Pat-A-Pooch section, learn what breed of dog will suit your home and lifestyle if you plan on adopting a furry friend or visit one of the many exhibitors who will be at the show offering the latest in products and services for dogs.

For many reasons however, visitors won’t be able to bring their own dogs to the show but rest assured, there will be plenty of furry companions to keep you company at the show.

You can save up to 20 per cent by getting tickets online and more information is available via the the Dog Lovers Show official website.
