Located along the Yarra River, the Melbourne Night Noodle Market makes its long-awaited return to the Birrarung Marr to bring to you a bevy of delicious Asian choices. Set up like a hawker market, many international students will no doubt feel right at home as food stalls serve the very best in Asian street dining.
Expect names like N2 Gelato, Hochi Mama, Cloud Thief, Filipino Barbecue, Mr Miyagi, Poklol, Wonderbao, Two Fat Indians and much more at the Melbourne Night Noodle Market!

Polish Festival
Sunday, November 12 (10.00am – 5.00pm) | Federation Square (Corner Swanston and Flinders St, Melbourne)
Now in its 13th year, the Polish Festival celebrates the food, music, language and culture of the proud Polish people (try saying that as quickly as you can!).
What can you hope to discover at the Polish Festival? Be entertained by performers on stage at Federation Square as they dance and sing to traditional Polish tunes, shop your way around stalls selling various traditional crafts and designs, or gorge on delicious Polish food such as pierogi (stuffed dumplings), bigos (hunter’s stew), and kielbasa (sausage) as well as a huge range of cakes and pastries!
Enjoy all that Polish culture has to offer this weekend and head down to Federation Square to get in on the action!

Chicken Nugget Festival
Saturday, November 11 (11.00am – 10.00pm) | Welcome to Thornbury (520 High St, Northcote)
What a very specific food festival this is! Those with an unyielding love for chicken nuggets will be in for a treat this weekend as a festival dedicated entirely to that flavoursome nugget will be held at Welcome to Thornbury!
Hotstar Melbourne, Shaun’s Nuggs, Roadrunner Fried Chicken and many more have been invited to Thornbury’s permanent food truck locale to whet the appetites of those who can’t get enough of fried chicken. Welcome to Thornbury will also be serving homemade Szechuan sauce for nuggets to be dipped in, pleasing Rick & Morty fans everywhere!
This is a one-day festival so make sure you reserve this Saturday and attend! Entry is free but of course, do make sure you bring your wallet – you’re definitely going to need it to eat your way around chicken nugget heaven!

Russian Resurrection Film Festival 2017
November 9 – 19 (Various times) | ACMI (Federation Square – Corner Swanston & Flinders St)
All stuffed on food? Why not get a bit of culture in you and check out the opening weekend of the Russian Resurrection Film Festival?
See all the latest offerings from one of cinema’s most influential film countries! Festival highlights this weekend include a retrospective screening of The Shooting Party, an adaptation of Anton Chekov’s second novel, The Bolshoi, a coming-of-age tale set in the world-famous Bolshoi Theatre and Attraction, a huge sci-fi blockbuster described as a Russian Independence Day.
All screenings will take place at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
